I’ve never managed to get a picture of one of the red foxes that call the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery home, but today I had an impromptu meeting and he/she seemed quite happy to sit around and pose for some portrait shots.
It was pretty windy today and quite a few branches were coming down, so I was surprised the fox stuck around as long as he/she did, but guess it was enjoying the attention. I like how the wind gave his fur a bit of volume in this next shot.
I was enjoying the unplanned photo session and was just about to have foxy try out some more poses when I felt the first spots of rain so decided to call it a day…within 5 minutes the heavens opened (sorry for the pun – being in a cemetery), and I was totally soaked by the time I got home.
I should have stayed up on Mount Royal as I saw on Twitter that there was a double rainbow not long after I got home 🙁 I did though manage to get a shot of the very yellow sky just before sunset.
I took a few shots around the cemetery (and on Mount Royal), but will save those for another post.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
