Google +2 Year Anniversary Photowalk in Montreal

In celebration of Google + turning 2, photowalks have been taking place in cities around the world, including Montreal. I joined a group of around 30 fellow photographers at the fountain next to City Hall in Old Montreal – A great group of people and not all local, with some coming from Ottawa and Toronto.

Thankfully the weather wasn’t like yesterday and it only rained while we were undercover on a terrace for lunch – great timing 🙂

I didn’t take that many shots as it worked out, but here are a few:

Not really old Montreal, but thought the roof ventilation towers (well I think that’s what they are) of the new French super hospital (CHUM) could make a nice image.

It’s been a while since I did a floating building so thought I would do one of the new Courtyard Marriott hotel and condo’s under construction on blvd René-Lévesque.

I only stayed for the Old Montreal section of the photowalk, but quite a few continued over at the Botanical Garden and then on to Mount Royal…and I’m sure some of them are still out clicking away and I look forward to checking out everyone’s images on Google +. Great job Isabelle and Jerry on the organization !

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
