I didn’t have much time to spend on processing more of the images that I shot while out and about in Old Montreal yesterday, so I quickly selected any shot that had a vibrant splash of the colour red in it.
Given that we received 30cm of snow over the weekend, and everything was pretty much white everywhere you looked, it was nice to have some colour in the shots.
I only came across a single calèche during my photowalk, all the other horses and calèche drivers must have taken a look outside and thought, hell with it, we’re staying in today. Thankfully the one I saw was red…
A more modern mode of transport, but the owner had a bit of digging and scraping to do before going anywhere.
Fortunately I took a shot of the LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana located at the front of LHotel on rue Saint Jacques.
I also happened to take a shot of the christmas decorations outside the hotel which happened to have a red bauble.
Okay, I shared an image of the beautiful Pierre du Calvet restaurant and hotel very recently, but at least this is a different point of view.
My final shot featuring red is of a very snowy sidewalk on rue Saint Paul.
I still have a few more shots from yesterday’s photowalk to share and perhaps I will have time to post a few tomorrow before the holiday celebrations begin…If not Happy holiday’s everyone !!
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
