Project 365 – Day 294: The colours of Autumn

October 20 2012

A better day today weather wise but I didn’t have a lot of time to spend taking pics today, so managed only to walk a few blocks around the Plateau. On rue Saint Christophe near rue Cherrier was a very bright pink bush that I thought offered good potential for a pulled zoom effect. The result I was able to process in Lightroom was close to what I had originally envisaged, although I would have liked part of the image to have maintained some focus, but quite like how it turned out.

Near the corner of rue Cherrier on Saint Christophe there’s a mural on the side of a home that stands out in part due to it surrounding a round window.

Here’s a wider view showing more of the mural.
