I reported a few weeks back that the fountains at both Parc Lafontaine and Carré Saint-Louis were out of action still following recent work at both parks. I passed via both today and pleased to report that both are now back in operation for the summer and looking better than they have in a long time:

I was shooting with the 85mm prime lens at the time and really wished I had the 70-300 zoom attached after I tried a few close crops…

I like how the water appears in the cropped versions – hopefully I will have the zoom attached next time I’m at the fountain and an interesting subject walks into frame.
