August 19 2012
This afternoon René-Lévesque Boulevard was closed to traffic for the annual Montreal Pride Parade. The Montreal LGBTA parade is one of the main highlights of Fierté Montréal. This year marked the 7th edition of the LGBTA festival that ran from the 13th August and ended today.
The Pride Parade is always a well attended event, and the great weather today ensured this year would be no different. The parade featured floats from hundreds of local sports teams, cultural and community groups as well as other gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organizations. I reckon the parade took nearly 2 hours to pass by with lot’s of great photo subjects – a great way to celebrate World Photography day 🙂
These two were getting a little frisky in the back of the car.
The young girl behind them didn’t look like she totally approved.
