Project 365 – Day 348: Festive tree at the Old Customs House

December 13 2012

Tonight I thought I would go check if any new Christmas lights were up in Old Montreal and found they have a decorated tree at the rear of the Old Customs House which is now part of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum of Archaeology and History of Montreal. With the Aldres Building and Notre Dame Basilica forming a backdrop it made for a nice composition.

I did quickly check other parts of Old Montreal and there are a few other places I would have photographed but didn’t have time tonight to stop, so I will likely be heading back to the Old Port in the very near future.
