The Alouettes were playing the Edmonton Eskimos at the Percival Molson Stadium on the corner of avenue du Parc and des Pins this afternoon. I thought it might be fun to try and take some shots of the stadium from the escarpment path on Mount Royal and add a tilt shift effect. I was fairly sure of a spot that would provide a good enough view of the stadium, particularly since the leaves are pretty much now gone. Unfortunately it didn’t give as much view of the pitch as I had thought, but took some shots anyway and added a tilt-shift effect using Elements 10.
The mountain was pretty busy today, probably due to people making the most of the calm weather before the effects of Sandy the monster storm arrives.
We met a cross between a dog and a black bear during our walk, he was a friendly giant though.
In case you were wondering…well played Alouettes, they beat the Eskimos 27 to 25 🙂
