The ghost of Silo #5

When I was down in the Old Port on Friday, I happened to look up at the elevated walkway of the grain silo #5. I wasn’t wearing my glasses and thought I saw a ghostly figure looking down at me through the window – when I zoomed in for a better look I realized of course it was just some graffiti painted on the window 🙂

From the Windmill Point basin you can just make out the Customs building on McGill street.

Another building I really like is the old Royal Bank on rue Saint-Jacques – although it will be nice when they complete the renovation and remove the scaffolding. This shot was taken from rue Saint-Pierre.

At the time it was built (1928) the building was the tallest in the British Empire. I’m not sure what the inside looks like now, but would love to take a look one day.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
