There was still some snow in the air as I made my way up Mount Royal on Tuesday afternoon.
I began my acsent at the corner of avenue du Parc and chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine.
The view from the Camillien Houde lookout was not great due to the snow, but I took a shot thinking it may work in black and white.
When I decided to head up Mount Royal I was hopeful that there may be a nice sunset, but the clouds rolled back in and killed any hope for a colourful sky. So black and white was best suited for a shot looking toward the Saint Joseph Oratory.
On my way back down the mountain, I stopped by the Kondiaronk Belvédère. The view was not great, so I concentrated more on getting some shots of people who had made the climb.
The Chalet is a great place to warm up on days like this, especially when the fire is lit.
I will be popping down to the Montréal en Lumière tonight at the Place des Festivals. Tonight is the opening of the 15th edition and it sounds like there will be a few new attractions to enjoy. The festival takes place between February 20 and March 2. Hopefully I will get some shots to share, but likely this will be the first of a few visits.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
