Avenue Laval

Today was not a great day to be out taking photographs – A typical wet/grey November day. I did however take a few shots on Avenue Laval on our way back from brunching on avenue Duluth. At least the remaining autumn leaves added a little colour to the dreary day.

I quite liked how the large number of parking signs stand out in the first image. Anyone who has visited Montreal by car will no doubt be aware of the sometimes confusing signs that provide times when parking is allowed (day of the week, month, time of day and parking permit number if applicable).

Thankfully the forecast for next week is looking brighter and I hope tomorrow to get down to the Remembrance Day event that is being held at the McGill University campus.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
