Late this afternoon I managed to find a little time for a walk around Le Plateau in the hope of catching some last autumn colours. I didn’t really have any particular spot in mind and ended up walking randomly down streets until I arrived over at parc La Fontaine.
Since I didn’t have much time to go through all the images, for today’s post I just have a couple of what I thought were nice autumnal shots.
The first was a lucky grab of a guy walking down rue Saint Hubert carrying a pumpkin on his shoulder which I thought was appropriate for the beginning of Halloween week. Time to get the knife sharpened and do some pumpkin carving.
After all the rain we had over the weekend I found this nice big puddle catching the autumn reflections down an alley.
A sign that winter is fast approaching are the temporary ice rinks popping up in parks across the city. You can see the side panelling in the shot below of the one in parc Jeanne-Mance.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
