Being such a beautiful day (hard to believe it is almost October) we headed over to Parc La Fontaine to check on the autumn colors. Already some nice colors, but I think next week should be ideal for shooting here.
We were there early afternoon, so the light was a bit too harsh for my liking, but still, I clicked a few shots and was quite pleased that the colors were not too washed out. A few clouds would have been nice to add some depth in the sky, but hopefully next visit 😉
The lake is now super clear after the renovation work carried out recently and great for catching reflections.
For the last shot today, I decided to process in black and white due to the trees in the image being mainly green still, plus I found monochrome worked well with the foreground rock.
It is shaping up to be a nice colorful autumn and the next few weeks should be spectacular and look forward to capturing as much of it around Montreal as I can. Feel free to share your own autumn shots here or over on the Montreal in Pictures Facebook page.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
