A few Montréal skyline shots from the Old Port

While I was down in the Vieux Port yesterday I took a few HDR images of the Montréal skyline from positions that I have rarely if ever shot from.

The first images were taken from adjacent to the Bota Bota spa near the Grain Silo #5.

I thought processing in black and white helped accentuate the great light over the distant skyline in the first image.

Another shot from the same location but using the 85mm lens rather than the wide angle. I should try taking some shots here at dusk when the promenade lights come on.

A spot I have shot from before is next to the mini lake opposite the Quai des Convoyeurs.

Again, a similar composition but zoomed in slightly.

I took quite a few more shots yesterday and will share some more over the long weekend. Wishing those that have it, a great Labor Weekend !

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
