I saw this lady across the street at the weekend taking her parrot for a walk. It’s actually a pretty common sight on the Plateau but I never seem to have my camera with me or I’m too slow to grab a shot.

I was doing a much-needed cleanup of my image library earlier and realized I hadn’t posted this shot taken back in June (in an alley on the Plateau) and thought it was appropriate to be included in today’s post.

A community of bird houses

I plan on trying to get a shot in the winter after a snowfall as I imagine the colored bird houses would look great against a bleak winter backdrop. The funny thing is, I was looking through photo books at the weekend for inspiration on the layout for a book I want to produce and came across a similar shot to this of the same bird houses.
