I was up in the Mile End near Avenue Van Horne this afternoon to pick up some prints and t-shirts so made a point of going and getting a few shots of the Saint Lawrence Warehouse and water tower while I was in the area.
Having posted a picture of the Guaranteed Milk Bottle water tower just a few days ago, you could be led to believe that there were plenty of them in Montreal, but actually there are very few.
The brick 7 storey warehouse was built in 1924 and is an icon of the Mile End district.
I noticed at the West of the warehouse is a small sculpture garden. I took a few pictures and will share another day.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
