More shots of Montreal from Mount Royal

Following on from yesterday, today’s post is a collection of other shots I took on Sunday while at the Kondiaronk lookout on Mount Royal.

The first image is of  the 1501 McGill College tower that is easily recognizable from the pyramid shaped top. In the distance are Mont Saint Bruno and Mont Saint Hilaire (and maybe Mont Orford in the far distance – though I’m not totally certain).

A slightly wider angle shot showing the round McGill Faculty of Medicine building in the foreground. The tall building in the center is 1 Place Ville Marie.

Turning slightly to the left and going to a landscape perspective you can clearly see the Mont Bruno and Mont Saint Hilaire rising in the distance. I gave this shot a high contract look together with a slight pseudo tilt-shift effect to add depth to the image.

Another shot with some added blur to emphasize the majestic Sun Life building.

Another pseudo tilt-shift processed in Adobe Elements and Lightroom, this time looking down rue de la Montagne.

The last picture for today is of the Hilton Garden Inn located on Sherbrooke street. The bridge to the left is the south side of the Jacques Cartier bridge – busy with traffic as always.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
