On Tuesday I passed by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and couldn’t help but stop and take a few pictures of Dale Chihuly’s glass tree outside the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavillion.

Having checked out some of his amazing art on line (and there is a lot !), this is an exhibition I will certainly be sure to check out.

Although I’ve shot The Eye sculpture by David Altmejd before, I thought another shot was worth taking due to the nice light falling on the building behind.

Claude Cormier is back again with a follow up to last year’s TOM installation – called TOM II this time. This year it’s a mix of red, green and white that resembles a field of poppies covering the pedestrianized avenue Du Musée. The installation is part of the summer Sculpture Garden that the museum opens each summer (2013 season ends October 27).
