I was very happy to be contacted recently by Benoit Guillot who has been inspired to use a couple of my photographs in his work.
Benoit is a local artist here in Montreal and if you are interested in drawing or painting his blog Pansolus is worth checking out as he often displays the various stages in producing his images.
As far as I’m aware, Benoit has to-date taken inspiration from 3 of my images and I love his renditions 😉
This bike image was taken on McGill campus exactly this time last year on February9th.
The next image was shot on May 29th during a torrential downpour that led to some flash flooding downtown.
The third image was taken on December 30 a few days after the big snowstorm that buried Montreal.
If you are in Montreal, Benoit currently has some of his work on display at Bar Populaire on Saint Laurent boulevard.
For more of Benoit’s art, head on over to deviantArt.
Thank you Benoit for letting me know of your work and hoping I can continue to provide a little inspiration now and again in the future 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
