With heavy snow turning to rain in the forecast for today, I decided to head down to Old Montreal this morning hoping to grab some more winter wonderland shots.
The fact it was snowing quite heavily didn’t make for easy shooting and after a few shots my lens cloth was soaked from wiping away all the snow landing on my lenses 🙁 Add to that, I slipped and fell on my back in a puddle of cold slush, didn’t make today the most enjoyable of photo walks I ever experienced. Certainly if it wasn’t for the 365 project, I doubt I would have ventured out with my camera gear today.
On rue saint Sulpice adjacent the Basilica Notre Dame is the Eternel Noel store – so called because it’s open all year round.
I found they have a tree on Place d’Armes that is the same as the one I shot the other day outside the Old Customs House. I may have to go shoot here again at night when there’s not so much snow falling.
