I took a quick tour of the 3 main shopping malls along rue Sainte Catherine to check out their Christmas decorations.
First stop was my favorite mall – Les Cours Mont-Royal. I’ve previously posted a few shots of the Les Cours Mont-Royal mall for those interested in the design and decor of this up-market shopping center.
I found the Christmas decorations to be pretty novel, in that they were all made of green plastic bottles with Christmas lights threaded inside. The decorations included some green bottle sculptured trees and various designs (stars, trees) mounted on boards.
Next up was the Montreal Trust. In place of the large fountain, there is now a tall Christmas tree with LCD’s hanging from it.
Finally, I passed through the Eaton Center where they have the same decorations as last year of large baubles hanging from the ceiling.
I could have also checked out Complexe Desjardins and Place Ville Marie malls while I was on the subject, perhaps another day.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
