Without having any specific idea of what to shoot today, I wandered down rue McGill to Old Montreal grabbing the odd shot here and there.
I’ve been down rue McGill countless times, but don’t think I’d ever before noticed the perspective looking towards Square Victoria and the juxtaposition of old versus new.
I really like the design of the The Point-à-Callierre (museum of Archaeology and History) and perhaps one day will do a post specific to the museum, but for today here are a few shots taken from the outside.
I thought I would try to get a group close up, but just as I had changed my lens, something spooked all the seagulls and they took flight. I just managed to grab one frame but I quite liked the diagonal of the dark metal framing the birds.
