I recently found out about a photo contest being held on Le Plateau and since the deadline for entries is on Friday, I thought I better go for a little walk around the neighborhood in case I found something that would be a contest winning shot. I didn’t discover anything extraordinary, and decided to enter a shot that I took back in February on the corner of Saint Laurent and Prince Arthur. Hopefully it will pass the eligibility test and be posted on the gallery soon so that people can vote for it (I believe there are even prizes for people who cast a vote !!!) – polite hinting intended 😉
Back to today. Following yesterday’s over-doing the shutter clicks (I guess time-lapse photogs change their cameras a lot), I tried to take it easy on my little walkabout and refrained from shooting every staircase, balcony and doorway I came across – it was difficult…
First a few graffiti shots.
I was good, I only took a couple of balcony shots – thought I would leave the others for another day (or days).
On rue Rachel I met this local artist who was standing on the corner of Hotel de Ville. He told me he cycles everywhere and paints every day. Unfortunately I don’t recall his name, but I’m sure we will meet on another street corner in the near future.
