I didn’t have much time today to go out shooting and only managed to capture this Harley Davidson in Mile End.
While in Mile End I had wanted to go shoot the famed Wilensky’s Light Lunch deli restaurant that’s been in business since 1932. However, I was too late and they had closed for the day…this place really needs to be shot from the inside 😉 I plan to do a few posts on Mile End in the near future being that it has some great photo potentials.
Anyway, back to the Harley. Not having my tripod with me I took 3 handheld exposures in order to produce some HDR images.
It was a shame the bike was parked on a fairly busy intersection. Although trying to time my shots so as not to have ghosted cars in the background, this next one did require some work with layers in Photoshop Elements to remove the ghosts.
Not very Montreal specific today, but hopefully tomorrow will make up for it when I plan to head down to watch the first Firework display at the annual International Firework competition. It’s been a long long time since I tried shooting fireworks, so fingers crossed I manage to
- find a good spot to view the display, and
- make the right camera selections.
Any tips welcome 😉
