I took a quick wander down to the Quartier des Spectacles this evening to shoot the video projections taking place as part of the Parcours Numérique festival. Being animations, still images don’t really show the installations at their best – maybe I need to consider incorporating video into my blog.
Long exposures are a bit hit and miss as well depending on the animation…a few of my images ended up being a bit of a blurred mess, but I managed to get one that I could use for the day’s image. Perhaps I’ll revisit and attempt some of the other installations before the show ends on Sunday.
The image of the day is of the projection on the corner of Bleury and Saint Catherine called Tempêtes by Yan Breuleux.

Another of the installations (that I already shot on May 23rd) is a projection called Epiphaneia by Refik Anadol on the UQAM Centre de Design building on President Kennedy.

I took a few shots around Place des Arts which is itself full of color at night.

Unfortunately the water fountains were turned off on the Place des Festivals but great to think that only a month from now the Jazz festival will be in full swing here.
