Another glorious sunny (and hot) day in Montreal today, so headed out to Parc Jean-Drapeau for a picnic and to shoot what would hopefully be another great sunset. Despite the day being clear, a few clouds rolled in just in time for the sunset.
I ended up getting the sunset shots from across the de la Concorde bridge at the Parc de la Cité du Havre next to Habitat 67 – it was a long walk home, but worth it for the view of the sun setting behind City Hall across the water.
Earlier in the afternoon before heading over to Parc de la Cité du Havre, I shot a couple of HDR’s around a small lake in the middle of Parc Jean-Drapeau.
The final shot that I was able to capture – and one I have been wanting to try for a while since I was last in this area – was an HDR of the Farine Five Roses sign from avenue Pierre Dupuy near Habitat 67.
