Montreal woke up today to clear blue sky and a fresh covering of snow left from yesterday’s snowstorm that swept across Quebec. It would have been an excellent day to get the ski’s out – particularly in the Eastern townships that had 30cm’s of fresh powder to play in. But feeling a bit “the day after the night before”, a short walk on Parc avenue was easier on the body.
The picture for today was taken on Parc avenue near to the band stand opposite avenue Duluth. I decided to convert to black and white and colorspot the hydrant in Lightroom.
I guess I was in a colorful abstract mood today, and was drawn to the play ground on the southern side of parc Jeanne-Mance.
A couple of other shots captured during my short walk around avenue du Parc
