Following up on a previous post that visited 4 second-hand stores on boulevard Saint-Laurent, I paid a brief visit today to the Eva B boutique (also on blvd Saint Laurent).
I could have literally spent hours photographing inside (and out), as every corner had a hidden gem waiting to be photographed.
Eva B is a store different to other stores in so many ways. The boutique is primarily a second hand clothing store spread over 2 floors but also has a wide range of collectibles and vintage items plus a small café. The store was quite busy when we stopped by and I certainly would like to return to spend more time shooting here (preferably with tripod for some HDR shots).
Anyone not knowing what awaits inside, may well pass by the store believing it was actually an abandoned building, but the outside decoration completely reflects the quirky items waiting to be uncovered inside.
The top floor has some wonderful displays. The Michael Jackson figure hanging out of the top window complete with baby doll in hand is great.
And now we know where Santa hangs out (and what he gets up to) when he’s on his hols.
Inside is not only a bargain hunters paradise, it’s also holds a treasure trove of subjects waiting to be photographed.
On the main floor there’s a counter serving drinks and snacks as well as racks and racks of clothing, second hand items and also a cinema with old theater seats.
On the first floor there is a display of mannequin heads and wigs.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
