I Didn’t have a lot of time for shooting today, so decided to just grab some shots of bikes on a quick walk around the block.
I spotted this bike along blvd Saint-Laurent next to Portugal park. It seemed like even the saddle was happy Spring was here again. I particularly liked the contrast between the fresh flowers and the aged rusting frame.
Spring bike
This bike was not looking as happy to be out and probably wishes its owner had stayed at home or walked.
Sad bike
Another bike not looking as happy as the first in this post. Looks like this one earns his keep.
Find the bike
With this last shot I had tried to get the bike floating over the skyline background, but couldn’t get the right angle for the shot.
Urban mountain bike
There has certainly been a lot more bikes hitting the streets in the last week and will soon be joined by the 5,000+ Bixi bikes when the public bike sharing returns on April 15.
