Condo development in Griffintown

I wandered down to Griffintown with the idea of shooting some of the condo developments that seem to be rising on every corner in the district. I’m kind of torn regarding the amount of development that is happening in the area – but I’ve ranted previously on this subject, so I won’t get on the soap box today 😉

When I got there I wasn’t really filled with much inspiration, maybe the fact that there was no activity at the sites didn’t help – due to it being the construction holiday. In the end I took just a few shots from around the Lachine Canal and Peel Basin, but it wasn’t really what I had in mind originally.

Since I was in the area, I took the opportunity to take a shot of the Farine Five Roses building and sign – I’ve shot this building many times, but not from this angle from beneath the Bonaventure Expressway – I don’t think anyway 😉

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.

My neighbourhood! Great shots…I have a shot of the Five Roses sign from almost the same spot (that I took in May)! It was featured in the Gazette for one of their #mtlfriday weekly competitions: http://instagram.com/p/Zoli4XK7v6/
