Thomas Leuthard
I recently came across Thomas’s work over on 500px where he has an amazing portfolio of street shots. If you like street photography then you will certainly enjoy checking out his amazing photography.
Mike Shaw
Cheshire UK based photographer, self taught and specialising in landscape and street portraits using the chiaroscuro style at times but likes to move about genres to test his abilities. Mike has gone on to develop photographic techniques by crossing over editing software that has given him a style that is uniquely his.
I decided to place Mike in the Street category – even though he takes many great landscape shots – due to his jaw dropping street portraits. Be sure to bookmark his blog for some great tips for taking better photos.
Thomas Hawk
Thomas is a self-confessed “photography factory” and the amount of photos he takes, he is probably right. Thomas has set himself a goal to publish 1,000,000 images before he dies and at the rate he is going, he will no doubt make his goal, if not surpass it.
Putting Thomas into a single category is difficult and if you take the time to view his images, you will see he shoots a great diversity of subjects. However, I was struck by his 2$ Portrait project, where, when someone asks him for money on the street, he gives them 2$ in exchange for taking their portrait – So, if you see Thomas in the street, ask him for some money 😉
Victor Bezrukov
Victor is an IT security specialist but with a passion for photography, particularly Street photography. His portfolios include some great catches, the one below being one of my favorites.
Leanne Staples
Leanne is primarily a street, social documentary and urban landscape photographer. A few things that she is always seeking out are shadows, reflections, patterns, motion blur, clouds, graffiti, and interesting people.
Her photos have been shown in exhibits around the world, in magazines and can be found on countless websites.
Eric Kim
An international street photographer based in Los Angeles. Eric runs street photography workshops around the world and shares a lot of tips for beginners and seasoned street photographers on his blog.
