Project 365 – Day 115: Zipper buildings
April 24 2012
Thanks again to the Google doodle for giving me some inspiration for what to go and shoot today. If you haven’t seen today’s Google doodle, it’s a fun interactive zipper commemorating the 132nd birthday of Swedish inventor Gideon Sundback who perfected the design of the Zipper.
I’m starting to wonder if my coffee was laced this morning or I smoked some good weed without knowing it given that I began walking around downtown Montreal looking for buildings that resemble zippers…was a little out of the ordinary.
My quest actually proved easier than I had anticipated – maybe too much coffee (or something).
The best find was the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel on Sherbrooke viewed from Place des Arts where the giant “tooth brush” lights could be mistaken for the zip pull…If you don’t see it in the picture below you need to perhaps drink more coffee
Does anyone relate to having a crazy obsession for a certain theme, if so, do share – I promise not to consider you as crazy
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
