View of Old Montreal from Windmill Point

Some final images from Friday’s walk around the Windmill Point next to the Grain Silo #5.

This is a great spot in the summer and a shame that the area is not utilized more. On Friday I was able to access from the bridge that leads to the Bota Bota Spa, but on a few previous occasions I found the way closed by wire fences, so not sure how easy it is to visit. If you do happen to be in the area it is worth a small detour to check out this small oasis of the Old Port.

Windmill-Point is best known as the location for the iconic Grain Silo #5 building.

I hope in the next few weeks to head back down and take some sunset/dusk shots.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
