A trip to the cemeteries

I made a quick trip to the Mount Royal and Notre Dame des Neiges cemeteries early this afternoon. I had planned to shoot a specific spot that I’ve seen shots of posted on the web, but had to cut my walk short due to the rain 🙁

Before the sky opened up I did manage to get a few pictures, although mainly part of the Mount Royal cemetery that I photographed previously – The First and Second World War Commonwealth soldiers section.

I recently downloaded Lens Effects from TopazLabs and thought I would try out the fog effect on this next shot…

I’ve not had a chance to play with all the 29 different filter and lens effects, but look forward to giving it a more robust workout in the near future.

As I entered Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery it started to rain and I only had time to get a few more quick shots.

The above was also edited using Lens Effects…here is the before and after comparison.

Strangely the image below looks like it was clear blue sky when in fact it was overcast and raining.

Hopefully next time I will find the place I’m looking for.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
