A summer evening on Parc Jeanne-Mance

Following on from yesterday’s post of the tulips in front of the George-Étienne Cartier Monument, here are a couple of pics taken on the other side of avenue du Parc.

On the East side of avenue du Parc, just north of avenue des Pins there are a number of beach volleyball courts that are often in use during the summer. Sunday evening was no exception..

There were many people out enjoying the warm evening on Parc Jeanne-Mance. One of my favorite spots to shoot in the park is the path that leads from ave Duluth to the George-Étienne Cartier monument.

I decided to further process the above shot in Topaz Adjust to give it a painted affect and finally a square crop. I should have probably held off adding the lomo effect though…

Another version I tried (again using Topaz Adjust as a jumping off point) was a black and white version.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
