Near the Rutherford Physics Building at McGill

Last Sunday I passed through the McGill University downtown campus and took a couple of shots next to the sculpture/water feature adjacent to the Rutherford Physics building.

I’ve shot at this location a few times before. To date, my favorite set of shots were taken at night when the fountain was in operation.

This time I concentrated more on having the downtown buildings in the background and getting some reflections in the standing water.

For the final image, I took a shot close up against the rusting metal of the water sculpture and went for a shallow depth of field so that the buildings would be blurred in the background.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.
