Project 365 – Day 225: Experimenting with zoom

August 12 2012

Following brunch on avenue Duluth we went for a walk on Mount Royal. Rather than the normal trail though we headed up boulevard Mont-Royal and cut through the forest running adjacent to the road between Voie Camillien Houde. This small forest is never that busy and today there was some great light filtering through the green foliage.

I had the tripod with me so decided to experiment with pulling the zoom during extended exposures.

This technique is really fun to experiment with and I plan doing some more soon and trying out a few other ideas.

I also managed to grab a couple of shots while walking along rue Saint Dominique.
