The beginning of autumn colors

Autumn colors are beginning to appear, mainly yellows, but the odd splash of red here and there. I was down near Place Ville Marie late this afternoon and one of my favorite spots looking up avenue McGill College provides a postcard view of Mount Royal and the wonderful architecture of the Royal Victoria hospital perched above McGill University campus.

I gradually made my way backwards toward boulevard René-Lévesque, allowing the fountain and sculpture (Feminine Landscape by Canadian sculptor and painter Gerald Gladstone) in Place Ville-Marie to be included in the shot with a nice autumn background.

I’m planning to shoot this spot again next week, but in the morning, so that the whole mountain side is lit. There should be more color as well !

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend everyone – a little autumn leaf peeping maybe 😉
